SUPER FOLIAR is ideal for foliar application to crops, as potassium in an ideal ratio with nitrogen and phosphorus, exerts a strong influence on plant growth and productivity. Use Super Foliar whenever a rapid response is needed for all crops, or when a good potassium supply is needed during cold and wet conditions.
The absorption rates for nutrients applied through the foliar route is very rapid for nitrogen, potassium, calcium, magnesium and trace elements (2 to 10 hours) and slower for phosphorus and sulphur (5 days). The efficiency of foliar absorption of phosphorus, compared to soil applied phosphorus, can be up to 20 times more efficient than for a sandy loam soil (Source: Michigan State University).

Rates and Timing of Application

Broad-acre crops: Apply foliar at the rate of 10 to 20 litres/hectare for a rapid and vigorous response from crops. Application can be made from early growth till just before flowering, and after pod set (lupin, soybean and canola)

Horticultural Crops: Super Foliar can be applied as both foliar and drip irrigation to a wide range of horticultural crops, at a rate of 5 - 10 litres/hectare each week.

Water (minimum): Broad-acre crops at 50 litres/hectare for 10 litres of Super Foliar, and horticultural crops at 600 litres/hectare for 10 litres of Super Foliar.
