RICH GREEN liquid nitrogen fertiliser has been formulated to contain both
nitrogen and sulphur. These two nutrients are components of nitrogen and sulphur
type amino acids which are important in imparting quality to cereal flour and in
increasing the oil content of canola, sunflower, peanut and sesame.
Rich Green can be used to boost nitrogen during the early growth stages of
cereal and vegetable crops for improved growth and yield. To improve nitrogen and
sulphur utilisation in crops, phosphate, magnesium and trace elements can be blended
with Rich Green in a compatible mix with Super Energy (50 parts Rich Green : 1 part
Super Energy).
Rates and Timing of Application
Cereals, Canola: Apply at a rate of 10 - 20 litres/hectare during the early tillering stages as a blend with Super Energy (50 parts Rich Green : 1 part Super Energy). A higher rate of the blend (up to 100 litres/hectare) can be used for cereals at sowing by liquid banding on the soil surface, along the furrow.
Vegetables: Apply during the vegetative growth stages at a rate of 10 - 20 litres/hectare at weekly intervals.
Water (minimum): Cereals at 50 litres/hectare for 10 litres of Rich Green blend. For soil application at sowing (furrow injection), mix 100 litres of Rich Green blend with 50 litres water before application. Vegetables at 200 litres/hectare for 10 litres of Rich Green nitrogen liquid fertiliser.
