Calzyme is a soluble foliar liquid fertiliser for activating crucial enzymes for healthy and productive growth of crops. Enzymes are biological compounds which promote synthesis of carbohydrates and sugars, proteins and oils in plants, and are themselves complex proteins activated by trace elements.

Calcium and magnesium in plant tissues are involved in cell elongation and division as well as cell wall and seed formation. Together with potassium they control plant sap pH during synthesis of compounds, and promote stability of important colloids. Calzyme will improve nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and trace elements nutrition, imparting a rich healthy dark green colour to leaves of fruit trees and vegetables.

Calzyme improves sweetness and taste, increases fruit size and weight, and improves quality at harvest.

Application Rates

Apply at the rate of 5 to 8 litres per hectare with a minimum of 50 litres water per hectare for broadacre crops and 500 litres water per hectare for horticultural crops. For maximum benefit follow up with another foliar application 2 to 3 weeks later.

Timing

Apply at the early 5-leaf stage and 2 weeks before flowering for broadacre crops. For horticultural crops Calzyme can be applied from any time after bud emergence until 3 weeks before harvest.
